To: Pamela Millnitz Unger & Family

My condolences on Bill's passing. I remember him from when I was a “walk on” on The Ohio State University football team. Our next meeting was when I met you and Bill when I was selling widow Gastel Ebert's large “mansion” at 800 Franklin Avenue for $16,000, and catching hell for my advertising it as “another German Village.” Pam, you can be proud that you and Bill recognized the potential of the area and pioneered in what is now Olde Towne East. I often thought of you two and wondered how you were doing. I am certain that you made a good investment in the “decaying mansion” 35 years ago.

I fondly remember that Bill liked his pipe, which was a bit unusual for a young guy back then. You had many happy years together as the obituary implied, and I was happy to see that you stayed together in the old mansion for many of those years. I remember that Bill was an English major and was impressed to see that he got a masters and Ph.D. If there is anything I can do for you in your time of sorrow, please do not hesitate to ask.
