"Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." - John 5:24-26

It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.

My deepest sympathies to Taira's family and friends. I only knew her through our online breast cancer support group. She was a wonderful source of encouragement for all of us. She was a beautiful, gracious, warm and loving person. It was an honor to know her in the capacity that I did. Her memory will live on in all who knew her.

I never actually met you, but I know what an amazing person you were just by spending time with Brea and Josh at youth camp last year. You are leaving behind a wonderful legacy in your children. You are an inspiration to us all to Praise Him in the storm, and live life to the fullest.

No more pain and no more hurt. You are now an angel above us for sure. May the harps play softly and your wings spread wide as you look down on us one last time. Your presence here on earth was a grand one indeed. For look at all the people that mourn for you since you've been freed. Thank you for including us in all that you've done and showing us how life is so precious to one. Until we meet again in the Kingdom of Heaven. I just want you to know that you are just a blessing......

When remembering Taira as she was growing up I remember the cutest little girl and then all of a sudden one day she was a beautiful young lady. So sorry to hear of her passing. Was so having faith that she would be healed, but God had other plans. Now she is with him enjoying her reward and seeing her Grandpa and Grandma. She was truly a woman of faith through her battle, so willing to help people even in her own time of need. Her life blessed many and she was such an inspiration, she will never be forgotten. I wish I was there to give each one of her family a big hug. I love each of you very much and will be praying for you in the days ahead just as hard as I had prayed for Taira. Remember when someone we love becomes a memory that memory becomes a treasure.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Many prayers were said for Taira and she is now pain free. I now pray for those left behind. Praying for strength for all of you. Love and prayers.

This loss is felt far and wide as Taira inspired so many folks around the world. Her incredible and enduring complete faith and trust in God and her positive attitude even in the most trying of times has been such a wonderful example of a true Christian woman. The love she radiated has touched us all. You will be missed but NEVER forgotten. Prayers to Rob and the kids.

Taira was a great mom and a person who was always so full of life and passionate about many things. My heart hurts for her children, husband, and family. I pray that God wraps his loving arms around each of you and brings you comfort and peace through this time.

May 22, 2013

I remember Taira as a young lively young lady, about 10 or 11 years old, with a sense of humor like her Mother's. I remember thinking to myself, how grown up she seemed at that age. She grew into such a lovely young woman of God, still enjoying every bit of life there was to enjoy. My heart breaks for Rob, and the children, and Jackie, Lloyd, Jarrod, and Larry. One comforting thought, is that she is now totally healed, and is just waiting for her family and friends to come and join her with Jesus. We love you all, and will continue to pray for you in the days, weeks, and months ahead for God's peace and comfort. I wish I could be there to give you all a big hug from all of us. God bless and keep you all.

I never had the privilege of meeting Taira but I kept up with her journey as she fought with cancer. (I know her sister in law). As I said I have never met her but I knew she was a great woman. This woman was such an encouragement to all to never give up and always keep your faith. She always seemed to be in such great spirits when she had every right to be miserable. She has touched the hearts of many people and her legacy will never be forgotten. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing and I pray for peace for her family and her children.

Taira was a friend for as long as I can remember. We collaborated together on many projects, laughed until we cried on countless occasions and supported each other when it mattered most. I will miss her terribly, but I know I will see her again. She will be missed tremendously by everyone who knew her.

Somewhere in Heaven this moment there's a lovely voice singing praises to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Her voice is sweet and joined with the sound of many Angels rejoicing as eternity dawns in a light that will never dim.

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

In rememberance of Taira, a girl who loved life loved her family and loved the Lord. Love is an eternal gift from God a precious gift not earned or bought but freely given a special gift that is shared with all and that will stay with every soul Taira touched in life through time and through eternity.
