Papa was known as a father to the fatherless as well as his 7 beautiful children. I know when Aaron first brought me home to meet the family, Armand (Papa) embraced me with such fatherly love and compassion that I felt at home immediately. Having recently lost my own father, Armand filled that hole in my heart and helped me in so many ways to grow as an individual, and over the past 14 years as a wife and mother to 4 of his grandchildren. He had such a sensitivity and deep respect for all life that shown bright to all who knew him.
The last time I saw him, over Thanksgiving, he shared with me stories of love and friendship and non-judgement that brought him to tears. It is that purity of heart and compassion that Papa carried that made him so special and so blessed. He was a great blessing to all who knew him, and will miss him terribly. Memory Eternal Papa.
Love always, Daughter Robin

Armand Damiano was a father to me when I didn't have one. There are so many wonderful memories of Armand from all the new restaurants he helped create to planting garlic in the backyard. I'm sure our family was the only family that had a garlic crop planted where a swimming pool would normally be. :-) He even helped teach me to drive. Armand always had a lesson, but it was always delivered with love and patience. His faith in God was always at the forefront and he had the heart of a servant. My heart breaks for the entire Damiano family. My surrogate family, My safe cocoon. Daniela, David, Aaron and Adam, I'm so sorry your heart is hurting right now and I'm thinking and praying for each of you. Margot, I love you. You'll never fully understand the impact you and Armand had on my life. I love you so very much. Celebrate the love that always surrounded him. Have peace in your heart that he is with the lord now and forever.

Love,
Darrell Juno
