Dear Ken & Gery,
I am so sad to hear of Melissa's death. I never met her but I have heard you both talk of her with much love. If she was anything like her parents are, she was a super person. You and your familly are in my prayers.

Melissa and I had so much fun as teenagers. From dressing up "Momma kitty" to riding her motorbike. My heart goes out to all of her family, and I know that she will be extremely missed. It was a pleasure to know her and we had so many laughs! I love you girl and I'll miss you Meathead!

Zeke, Seth, Kenneth, Geraldine and Mark. Melissa was my dear friend. I have known and worked and loved Melissa for many many years. You boys have grown up to live and love life just as she had. I know anytime I spent time with her that my belly ached from laughing for hours. I have wonderful memories and will cherish each and every one them. Kenneth and Geraldine you raised a wonderful daughter. Melissa had such great memories of growing up. She talked of them often. And Mark, she loved you and was so proud of how far you have come. You made her laugh and she the same for you. I will truly truly miss her and my prayers are with you.
Fittingly voted "Wittiest" of our graduating class of 1980, Melissa brought laughter and smiles to everyone. She is a sweet soul and dear friend and will be lovingly remembered and missed by us all. Zeke, our thoughts and love are with you and our condolences to your extended family. God Bless!

Melissa always made us laugh... She was a wonderful person and loved her boys. Seth and Zeke... You guys were her world and she loved you sooooo much.
I address this to both her sons: Your mother touched so many people with her zeal for life and the laughter she brought into any room. Those of us who grew up with her, adored her. If you couldn't be "Meathead" then you certainly wanted to be around "Meathead". My heart is broken for you both. Your Mom was a "one-in-a-million".
Dear Zeke, Seth, Mr. & Mrs Perry and Mark, please know our hearts are filled with sorrow for each of you and you are in our thoughts and prayes. Melissa was my wonderful friend and I will always love her and remember her wonderful laugh and smile. Zeke and Seth, she was a proud Mom of the both of you and you were the center of her life and the apple of her eye. She always had great things to say about you both. Melissa brought a wonderful sense of laughter and a bundle smiles to everyone she touched throughout life and would out cheer anyone on the ball field for her boys! Melissa and her family play a large part in my own family memories during our little league football years that we will always hold dear to our hearts and cherish for the rest of our lives.....and for that we will love her always. FULL of life and FULL of love. The gift to look anything square in the eye and see the humor in it. A true gift to the world. The world has lost a sweet, sweet soul, but the angels have received her back and they are probably laughing by now...love you
