Thinking of your family at this time
Monday, 14 January 2019
I met Jack while doing meals on wheels. He was a charming man who always welcomed me with a smile. When I stopped doing meals on wheels, I would go over occasionally and have a cup of tea with him. He made a good cup of tea. He talked about his old days and when him and Marie first got there house. Suprised him with a visit a month ago. He was in good spirits. RIP jack.

Jack is to be congratulated on enjoying such a long life. I first met him around 1960 when he was just off the boat from the UK, and we were residing at Mrs Burns' establishment on Mt Victoria, Wellington. I am sure his bright, pleasant personality was a great asset to his family and friends
