It doesn't matter as much how one is during his lifetime, but when they can look down from above, and know how much their life had affected so many, all over the world, in joy, happiness, and fun, what a final tribute to them, as the same goes to Don Knotts.
I can only hope that Don Knotts had even an inkling while he was alive, to know how he endeared so many of us and our lives, just doing what he did best. Even today, I found a channel dedicating itself to the Andy Griffith Shows, in Don Knott's memory, and they still bring happy thoughts and laughs, as they always did before. It is a blessing that Andy Griffith, Ron Howard, and the producers of the Andy Griffith Shows were already more than aware of Don Knott's talents, and the love among them, cemented into one. It is a blessing that Don Knotts had already so much love and admiration while he was still alive, and that is a blessing that so many do not have.
What a blessing he was, as was the entire Andy Griffin Show, their family values that we could still treasure today.
Good-bye, Barney Fife and Don Knotts, you just HAD to know how special you were to everyone...and now, forevermore.
May your families always be able to remember all that you were, and all that you were to everyone.

Thank you so much Don for all those memories. As a young boy you made a lasting impression on my life. Everytime I see an episode of the Andy Griffin show it brings back precious memories of watching the show with my Grandma and Grandpa. You always kept us laughing. There will never be another person who will ever come close to replacing you. You will always be remembered in the hearts of many. God Bless You Don.
