Sue and Family:

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember your dad as a kind warmhearted man as we interacted while hanging out at the house and as he helped a friend and I when he graciously accepted to receive our cord of wood we were selling as part of our missions trip money making.

I was sad to learn from the F-86 Sabre Pilots Association website just yesterday that Don passed away. I had many great times hanging out with my Dad and Don (and others) at their F-86 Sabre Pilots Association meetings and heard stories that were amazing. What a great group of guys and what a fun, smart, and interesting guy Don was. He was the last guy I was in touch with from the old 67th Squadron of the 18th Fighter Wing crew (like Dad). I am lucky to have known him. My condolences to the family.

We extend our sympathy to Ann and family. We lived near the McNamaras for 14 years and thought very highly of Don. May all of your happy memories be a source of comfort for you at this difficult time.

Although I never had the honor of meeting Don while at 3M, I salute his memory as a fellow 3M'er, a fellow officer who served in Korea, and a fellow graduate of an Upstate New York University. My condolences to his family and friends.
