Stich, Joseph "Joe" D.
Joseph "Joe" D. Stich, 57, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Saturday, (April 26, 2014) at Ministry-Door County Medical Center ER.
He was born July 7, 1956 in Green Bay, the son of William and Margaret (Gardner) Stich. Joe graduated from Gibraltar High School in 1976. He served his country for six years with the U.S. Navy. On May 28, 1983 he married Amy Evenson at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in West Jacksonport. Joe was employed at Wulf Bros. in Sturgeon Bay for the past 17 years.
He was a member of the Door Devils Motorcycle Club and board member of the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial. Joe enjoyed motorcycling, playing guitar, and deer hunting. Joe was most happy with his wife, Amy, and his children.
Survivors include his wife, Amy; two children, Megin Stich of Oregon, James Stich of Sturgeon Bay; his mother, Margaret Stich of Sturgeon Bay; six brothers, Edward (Deanna) Stich, Michael Stich of Sturgeon Bay, Leo Stich of Baileys Harbor, William (Deb) Stich of Beloit, Martin Stich of Green Bay, Eric (Toni) Stich of Baileys Harbor; five sisters, Diane (John) Smart of Colorado, Ella (Bill) Keown of North Carolina, Julia (Bill) Raduenz of Algoma, Therese (James) Hitt of Baileys Harbor, and Ann (Mike) Nooyen of Pulaski.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial on July 5, 2014 with times to be announced. Military honors will be provided by the Am Vets and U.S. Navy.
Memorials may be given in his memory to the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial at PO Box 804 Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. I worked with Joe at Allis-Chalmers and my mom babysat for Matthew when he was an infant until they moved to Tennessee. I have so many fond memories of time spent with Joe.
