Not sure what to say?

I am sorry regarding the loss of your loved one. May the God of Comfort, continue to comfort the family.

My sincere condolences to the entire Moose Skowron family. I played baseball with Moose in the White Sox fantasy camp in 1991 and it was a blast. He tutored me and it seemed like he genuinely was interested in me as a player and friend. I am sure that was his persona with everyone. I treasure the photos I have of him with me and will never forget him as a player and the gentleman that he was. I pray that he, Tommie Agee, and Minnie Minoso are together playing ball and commiserating. May God...

Used to watch the Yanks in early 60's religiously, as a kid 8 - 12 yrs old. The days not only of the 'big 4' - but also - Hector Lopez, Elston Howard, Phil Linz, Tony Kubek, Clete Boyer, etc. Moose was a ROCK at first base, and I will NEVER FORGET that he was a part of some of the BEST years of my life, as far as baseball is concerned. RIP Moose!

My brother Al Aronson played
softball with Moose and was inducted into the Chicago 16 inch SOFTBALL HALL OF FAME FROM THE 1940s & 1950s . AL Passed away about the same time as MOOSE but talked about him with the warmest thoughts .They both were asked to go to the Yankees together but Al was married young and had 3 kids and another on the way. He glad Moose did well and was very happy for him. They talked to each other occasionally, and talked about the old days...Im 81...

I am from Austin MN and went to all home baseball games. Talked to Moose a lot and he gave us kids a lot of advice. He would always give us baseballs so we could play our games in the parks of Austin. I have an official shirt with his printed signature along with all the LA Dodgers players when he played for Dodgers which was my favorite team. A man of strength and heart for the kids that loved baseball. RIP

Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us.

As I am watching the ALL Star Game this evening, I started thinking about Moose. He and his family were our neighbors on BelAire Drive in Austin. So sorry to see he had passed. Denise (Jensen) Nelson. Mesa AZ

I knew Moose from our days in Chicago where I played softball against him. I also knew him in NY city when my company (Colgate) sponsered the pregame show with Red Barber. Moose invited me into the locker room to meet Johnny Blanchard the 3rd catcher. Johnny autographed a National league baseball for my two sons. Moose was always a favorite Yankee of mine. I also played basketball with his uncle John Skowron at Forman High School in Chicago. Jack Blanchard

Just saw this on a face book page. My dad Joseph C. Skowron had Moose come to St. Adalbert's Holy Name Mens Club, East St.Louis,IL many years ago, probably in the 50's. My dad wrote to him sometime in 2008 he was very proud of Moose. My deepest sympathy.
