I got to know Steve while working at the family grocery store in Deer Park. Steve was also very respectful to me, asked me a lot of interesting questions because I was 4 years older and I enjoyed his enthusiasm. I was deeply saddened by his passing but am thankful he knew the One who is the resurrection and eternal life. Now he can rest in paradise and ultimately the full blessing of the New Jerusalem in eternity future. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family.

Steve was a good friend to have grown up with. Sleepovers as kids, driving to high school every day, burgers at Mary's Cafe...so many fond memories. My thoughts and prayers to all of his family during this time of mourning.

It is hard to believe someone so special is gone. I went to school with Steve. He was a year older. I had the biggest crush on this blonde haired, always smiling young man, as well as so many others did....but would never know it because he was humble. He was nice to everyone. In fact, I never remember a sulking Steve. He loved his family. We will all meet again Steve. I wish my deepest condolences to his big loving family. I know you will miss Steve dearly. Never forget the love he showed you and how happy you made him.
