Dion Gordon Sherman, age 51, peacefully passed away on Jan. 10, 2017.
He was born on Dec. 9, 1965, in Seattle to Bob and Virginia Sherman. He graduated from Riverside High School in 1984.
He loved photography, hunting, fishing and gardening. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sister, Lori; a brother, Shawn; four children, Ryan, Racheal, Hayden, and Avery; and his five grandchildren.
A service will be held at Chattaroy Community Church on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m.

I wasn't present for his funeral and I didn't know of his passing, but I know members of the Sherman family and wish to express my condolences. My heart weighs heavy for your loss.

Really going to miss you Uncle Dion. Thank you for introducing me to the amazing world of photography and giving me my very first camera, to this day it is my number one hobby. I love you and will miss you. I'm glad you're at peace now.
