So saddened to learn of Marge's passing! What a dear, sweet lady she was and such a good friend to my Mom and Dad - Elise and Woody Simmons - and to me and my family! Whenever I visited Bayfield, I always stopped to visit her and give her some of my homemade pasta salad she loved. This year, was an exception, however, as I didn't get to visit her when I went to her house in November - she was sleeping, and I didn't want to startle her. Very sad, indeed! On a lighter note, she and Art gave me beets from their garden every year when I lived in Bayfield - so naturally, I made and canned pickled beets! Every time I pull up a beet or eat one, I think of them so much! Love and Blessings to you all, Rita Jelsma
