My thoughts and prayers are with all of Ervins family. He was such a kind and wonderful man. My family was so blessed to have known him and to call him friend. Rest high on that mountain. God bless and grant you all Peace.Donna (Pyle) Tucker

To all of the Stidham family, Am so sorry for your lose. Met Ervin at Prince St. Baptist church back in 2000 and he was one of the first ones to make me feel welcome. He was always there with a hand shake and a smile. Then when my husband ( Louis Holland) joined the church they became friends right away. Him, Louis and Jay all set together on the back row. It is lonely looking now that they aren't on it any more. He was always so nice about coming and fixing our furnace, our refrigerator, our stove or anything else that broke down. He never wanted to charge us but we insisted that he took it anyway. Was so generous. He use to work on our grandkids washer and dryer and since they never had much money he wouldn't charge them very much. I ask him one time how he made a living when he was doing it for hardly nothing. He was such a good servant to God in the church and he has been missed since he has been sick and now the heaven is so full with him in it. We loved him and was blessed by knowing him. LOUIS AND JOYCE HOLLAND
