My Dad, Andrew "Andy" J. Kitten, who is now a widower living in a Retirement Community in Lubbock, is Leon's first cousin---- i.e., Leon's mother, Mary Katherine Kitten Schilling, (1895 - 1988), was one of my Dad's father Frank H. Kitten's, (1901 - 1981), three older sisters. Growing up, "The Schilling Boys," "The Schwertner Boys," and "The Kitten Boys" --[plus many others!!]-- all "used to run around together" in the Slaton, TX, area. Leon's genuine smile was the result of his Love For Others and his happy, faithful heart was the result of his Faith In A Higher Power Than Ourselves, and maybe (?) that type of Love and that type of Faith are also ............ *The Keys To Life*. May The Good, Kind, Always-Smiling Soul Of Leon Louis Schilling Rest Forever In Eternal Peace---- [and, if we had more exemplary folks in our world, i.e., like Leon certainly was, we'd truly have ............ *P.e.a.c.e. On Earth*, you know!!]

~~~With our deepest sympathy for your loss,
Wendell and I want to express our deepest sympathy to the entire Schilling family for the passing of Leon. He was a wonderful man, who will be greatly missed by his family and community. God bless you and grant you the strength and peace necessary to face the difficult days ahead.
