Eddie Albert was truly an amazing person with so much talent the loss is clearly ours. Prayers fill our hearts while singing praises to God asking him to let us never forget the love we have for this wonderful person gone from our lives never forgetting the joy we shared experiencing a great talent. Hebrews 6:10.

You played a coward in that great Aldrich movie Attack, but in real life you were quite a hero at Bloody Tarawa. For that and your wonderful acting I say...Thanks!

I don't know if this will be seen or not, but I must say that Mr. Albert's most noteworthy achievement was not his Hollywood career. This man was a hero and Bronze Star recipient. I just saw a documentary about JPAC's efforts to bring back all of the Marines' remains from Tarawa. Several commented on how many dead and wounded Marines he picked up. A true hero first, an actor second.
