I'm sorry for being so late with this but wanted to express my sadness with the passing of Arthur.

I assisted him at the care home, taking him for walks, encouraging him to mingle and at Christmas and Easter, we made cards together for his family.

Arthur was a dear man and I deeply respected his courage in fighting his illness. It was very difficult for him at times but he persevered, especially when the opportunity to get outside was involved.

He loved nature and his sheer delight in discovering a mushroom on our walks could brighten anyone's day. And when Arthur was outside, his legs would suddenly take flight on his journey of discovery.

When Arthur was feeling down, I could encourage him by talking about his family, whom he loved very much.

Peace and Blessings to you all.

Arthur was a joyful man who communicated his interests and passions in a way that invited you to join him in their enjoyment. His underlying good humour and warm nature were evident during all the years in which we knew him. Deepest condolences, Pat Masters and Leo Boychuk

My sincere condolences. May our heavenly Father, the God of all comfort sustain you at this time of such great loss 2Thessalonians 2:16, 17.

Our deepest sympathies on the passing of Arthur.
I had the privilege of knowing and working with Art at ARC on campus and in Devon.
We also played softball for many years and were both on the ARC Forth Division Championship Team.

Sincerely, Pat and Martin Schurek
