ED: So sad to hear about Bonnie, I was not aware of her illness. Worked with Bonnie on College affairs since mid 90's. Always appreciated her work and knowledge of the profession. She knew more about the history of the optometry than anyone else. Always enjoyed our "laughs together" on the telephone. Have great memories of her. Our thoughts are with you and your families. Ed, Deepest Sympathies to you with Bonnie's death. She was a treasure in the AAO and ACO offices for many, many years - so good a remembering everyone's names and keeping things organized. I was blessed from knowing her. Sorry for your loss.

How I remember Bonnie's beautiful voice when I would call the College office. She remembered what I was calling about, she was so professional yet gentle and kind. I thought wow optometry is so fortunate having Bonnie represent us to the public. I am sorry to hear of this sad news.

Kathy and I were saddened and shocked to read about Bonnie's passing, you above all else know what a tremendous human being she was and will continue to be in our collective memories
Bonnie was my first contact wit the association upon my graduation in 1973, and also was my anchor through my time on council and through my 3 year presidency
Bonnie was the one who's judgement and perspective I so often relied upon over the years... my memeory of her will never fade.. our profession has lost a tremendous advocate and a friend

I worked with Bonnie at the college for many years and she was always very pleasant, very organized and dedicated. She was an asset to the profession of optometry. Thank you for everything

Ed, our sincerest condolences on Bonnie's passing. Bonnie was an important mentor and friend. I enjoyed working directly with her from 1982-1993 at the AAO and 'down the hall' from 93 to my departure in 1998. She played an important role in the history of Optometry in Alberta and led a full life outside of work. Our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time.

We were so very sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing from Terri and Mike. Although we had only met Bonnie a couple of times, she was someone we wish we had known better. Our sincere condolences on the loss of your beautiful wife.

Such sad news of Bonnie's passing. My memories go all the way back to the early '70's and are full of highlights in every decade. She was a major asset to the profession of optometry.
You had some great years together, Ed...just not enough. Deepest sympathies to you and family.

Prayers for her family..... I will miss the chats through the fence as I walk my dog past her yard.... she was an excellent neighbour and would tell me great stories of when she grew up in the neighbourhood. Thank you Ed for taking such great care of her.... may God give you peace during this time❤
