I worked with Charlie at the Royal Bank in Halifax, Nova Scotia in the late 60's. He and his wife at the time were good friends of my wife and I. It is with sincere sadness that I learned of his passing. He was a good
friend and will be missed. RIP.
Dean and Doug Cook.

Dear Heidi and family,
We would like to express our profound sadness on hearing of Charlie's passing. Charlie devoted a lot of his time to WildNorth (formerly Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton)as a board member and got us through some challenging times. He also logged thousands of kilometers as a transport volunteer, driving to many parts of rural Alberta to pick up injured birds. His pleasant manner and ready smile always brightened our day. We will miss him! Our thoughts are with you and your family.
On behalf of the Board and staff of WildNorth, Kim Blomme

Heidi, my deepest sympathies for the loss of the love of your life. I feel blessed that I was so fortunate to connect with you both at Rotary. My thoughts are with you and family during this difficult time.

Having known Charles a short time I feel quality rather than quantity was what came into play. It seemed I had known this family forever. We connected and became friends. I am happy my path in life joined theirs. God peace to you all.
