Our Condolences to family to Dr. Johnston's family. Amazing Doctor he did casting of my arm and he so excellent correcting it .

Bill was a good friend growing up in Windsor Park. Forty years later, with her family scattered about, Bill took the most wonderful care of our Mum in her later years. A tremendous person and a fine physician.

Dear Marie Ritchie, dear Johnston family
We heard that Bill had passed away a week ago while travelling in NSW, Australia.
Jill went to school with Bill and Andrew Gilbert
and Gerrit who did his Orthopaedic residency at the
UofA worked with Cooper and Bill in the OR for almost 5years and moved back to Germany thru
Bills international contacts at that time 1985.
My surgical and academic career at the Tech.University in Munich was based on Dr.Huckells and Dr Johnston teachings and academic.influence
We are very sad and upset and send our deepest
Condolences. We have the best memories and cherish you in our hearts. Goodbye Bill

I had both hips replaced by Dr. Johnston almost 20 years ago. The surgery gave me a new lease on life. Dr. Johnston did such a great job. He was always kind and patient with my questions.
I send my condolences to his family.

Bill was a great guy and a fine doctor. He was a good friend from Windsor Park days, and an even better one at the hospital. He left us far too early.

I've known Dr. Bill Johnston for over 20 years and I feel privileged to have worked with such a compassionate and dedicated orthopaedic surgeon. He was an outstanding mentor to the entire orthopaedic team at the University of Alberta hospital. He will be greatly missed.

Very sorry to hear the sad news about Dr. Johnston. My sincere condolences to the Johnston Family. He was a very caring, kind and exceptional surgeon. I had the pleasure to work with him for many years in the operating room at the University of Alberta Hospital. May he Rest in Peace.
