Dear Family of Dorothy,
Your Mom was a great friend to my Grandmother, Lenore Golka. When I visited grandma she insisted I meet your mom and dad, who treated her so well with love and kindnesses. Your mom was always ready to help my g'ma with anything she could and your dad was so kind to "fix" stuff around her home when her own family, living in Viking, could not be there, Harvey was!
I was blessed to witness their loving, caring ,giving kindnesses from both of them, true Christians indeed.
It is difficult losing a Mother, but believe she in the arms of her Savior, Jesus. It was a tribute know Dorothy over the years. My warmest regards, Marie Golka

We have fond lasting memories of your mom in Hawaii along with so many short visits on the beach. One powerful visit engulfed the whole afternoon on the beach listening to Dorothy minister the message of faith and belief while encouraging us in the loss of our 28 year old son. Her words are forever imprinted on our hearts and we still reflect back to that day and how she ministered to us. Your mom was such a Blessing. We are so sorry in the loss of your precious mom but be reassured she is in the arms of Jesus.

We were among the lucky people who had the privilege of knowing and appreciating both of your parents over the years. They always brought the best out of the host of friends and clients they honoured. Our deepest sympathy is sent prayerfully to you, Linda, Allan, Sharon and family as you adjust to the loss of your mother/grandmother.

As we watch the sun rise on Waikiki, we are remembering +Dorothy with much love. She enjoyed many such mornings with us, and we will not forget her. Just as each day is a gift, she was a gift. And we cherish them all. As we Orthodox Christians say, Memory Eternal, dear +Dorothy.

Dear Linda, Allan, Sharon and family: I am so terribly sorry to hear of the loss you have all just faced in the death of your beloved Mother. and Grandmother. You were all my next door neighbours many years ago on Fairway Dr. and your Mom and Dad were very, very nice to have next door. They were both super nice people and your Mom a jewel.
God will take good care of her and we'll all meet up again one day. God bless you all through this very emotional and trying time.
