As well as knowing the Ritchie family, I worked with Dorothy at CIBC in 1976. She was always so kind, calm and encouraging. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Growing up in Sherwood Park was great and I have very fond memories of Dorothy. My thoughts go out to the entire family.

Our condolences go out to the entire Ritchie family on the loss of one of the nicest people we have ever met. Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie made Sherwood Park a wonderful place in which to grow up and live. She always used to laugh that I was smaller than my goalie equipment and she was the only one in the world who called my mum "Margie"; and then asked if that was okay. She was a lady in every sense of the world.
