My deepest sympathy to the whole family. I will truly miss this generous, compassionate and caring man. Erwin and I first met in Edmonton. I cherished our Friday bevy nights, coffee at the Farmer's Market and the many fun events. Erwin always graciously opened his home to me and my grandchildren when we went to visit him in Osoyoos. He always made my grandchildren feel special and loved to watch them play. While in Osoyoos he always graciously drove us around whether it was to the beach, local attractions or to be my DD for wine tasting adventures. We always had a ton of fun. He was a very special man. Rest in Peace my friend.

My sincere condolences to the family. I met Erwin in Osoyoos when he entered my hearing aid clinic a few years back. We used to get together for chicken wings at our favourite pub. He was a wonderful man who loved to tease me and always made me laugh. We will remember you on St. Patrick's Day this year. We had so much fun last year. You may be gone but will never be forgotten. RIP Erwin. We will meet again someday.

Family and Friends of Erwin,

I had just graduated Engineering school in 1977 and was very fortunate to have Erwin as my first career supervisor at Fuller & Knowles. I learned a lot from Erwin who was very collegial and graciously shared his expertise and wisdom with me. Most importantly, Construction Management is a very hard business on people and relationships. Erwin showed me how it was possible to be honest, demonstrate composure, listen, consider the views of others, be resilient and above all maintain your integrity while under fire. These lessons from Erwin I was able to use successfully in my personal life and during the balance of my professional career. Thank you Erwin.
