Very sad about Mrs. Vinge's passing. I have never forgotton her and often wished I could have stopped by to say hello. As one of her elementary school students at Tipaskan in Millwoods, I have very fond memories of her and would say she influenced & helped shape my life. So thankful she was in my life even if it was only for a short while. Now I'll never know if she remembered me. Rest in peace and thankyou for being a part of my life.
I am so suddenly shock to only now hear of her passing in feb. Mrs. Vinge was my 3 and 4th grade teacher and I am now 39. I do not know if you will ever get a chance to read this letter, but I hope so.....your wife and mother was a very influential teacher to me and a few of my classmates. At that time in my life I had many issues at home, she made me feel cared for. As I became an adult I realised how important she made me feel and much she really did care for her students. She held us accountable for our actions, and gave me faith.
I am truley sorry for Your loss, and I know my words are of little comfort, but she was a great lady.
I hope that this is not too late, David, to tell you how sorry I am for you to lose your Darlene. A pair you were to I me. Although it has been so many years, I hope my message of love will comfort you.

Dear Dave and Family,
I am so very sorry about your loss...you have my most sincere condolences and may God comfort you all in your time of great need.
Mrs Vinge was my teacher in grade 1&2. I am 30 now so that was a long time ago but I still vividly remember her so fondly and I am so very sorry to hear of this sad news. I cannot think of another teacher who had such a profound affect on my formative years. My thoughts are with Mr Vinge, Dana and her extended family.
Dear David, Dana, and families:
May the fond memories of all the time you have shared with Dar help lighten the sorrow of her passing. She was a wonderful friend with a caring heart and a giggle that will not be forgotten. Our condolences are extended to you all.
Dar was the first friend we made when we moved across the street. We were re-grading the side of our house and Dar came walking over (with Dessie her dog), her wheelbarrow and started helping us! Very giving and we'll miss having her as a neighbour. Dave and Dana, our sincerest condolences.
Darlene was a great friend and will always be remembered for her great sense of humour.

I never met you Darlene but I know how kind and generous you and your husband were with my daughter when she was new to your city. You took her into your home and gave me peace of mind. Peace be with you and your family.
Darlene was a wonderful friend. I will always remember her sense of fun and adventure; the holidays in Radium and the picnics at Mayfair Park. She had a special spirit and played a large role in my young adult years. Good-bye old friend. I wish you peace.
