Maxine & family- I have been away and have only just heard of Gord's passing and extend my heartfelt sympathies for you loss . I first met Gord at the Civil Service Tennis Club in Regina Sask. in the '60's. Just a few short months ago Gord pulled me aside to remind me of a picture he and I had from the local Regina newspaper with Gord, myself, Greg Shave and Dreen Prentice at a provincial tournament - only seems like just a short time ago. I will miss Gord at the club - always smiling, always giving his best effort and always a gentleman. We are all so fortunate to have had him in our lives. Please take comfort in your memories and the wonderful family he loved.
I feel very fortunate to have known Mr. Cole as my closest friend's dad and my next door neighbour. He always took the time to say hello, shoot some baskets or throw the ball. He was a good role model and a great dad.
Our love & sympathy to cousin Maxine & family in their loss. Sharon, Bill & family.
Sorry to read of your loss. We are thinking of you and your family and remembering the thoughtful man that Gordon was.
Gord's life was indeed well-lived. We will miss the good times. Our heartfelt love to Maxine and family.
