I just recently learned of the passing of Doug and wanted to offer my sincere condolences. I went to Westmount Jr. High with Doug and last saw him at the 25th reunion. May you take comfort in the knowledge of Eternal Life "God Bless".

How can words ever properly express feelings of such sorrow. We are truly sorry for your great loss. We didn't know Doug very well, but always enjoyed his company at the lake and his obvious love for his family and friends. May God bless you with an extra measure of grace and peace during this time. Life without him certainly won't be the same but we pray that his spirit will surround you daily and his love of life will fill your heart with wonderful memories and comfort you. Remembering his contageous smile alone will bring your own smile to life again.
Levi, I know we don't have to tell you what an awesome guy your dad was. If there was one thing about him that we always noticed visiting with you all at the lake was how much he loved you and how proud you made him.

Our deepest sympathy in the passing of Doug...based on my humble opinion, the brightest lights in our world seem to pass the soonest and Doug was a huge, beautiful bright light to all who knew him. Our memories of our "Toastmaster" years still make us smile and laugh and Doug and Marie were always in the centre of that joy.
