May she rest in peace. Years ago when I had a dislocated shoulder, Gwen used to drive all the way from another part of town, very early in the morning just to help me fix my hair before going to work! A lovely, kind lady. I am so glad that Gwen has been part of my life.

I did not know her, but I think that there is a good possibility that her children have United Empire Loyalist ancestry. There are several Arnold men on the Loyalist Directory on the Dominion website. The UE designating a descendant of a Loyalist is representative of the only hereditary title in Canada, passing perpetually through generations. There is a branch of the United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada in Edmonton.
