Gail & Family: I was unaware of Gwen's passing until yesterday. I will always remember her for her work with the Breton Museum and of course, her book "The Keystone Legacy?". I will always have many fond memories of Gwen.

My sympathy to Wayne and Terry and their families on the passing of your loved one. May God give you comfort and peace. Your parents will be remembered for their involvement in the Keystone, Breton and Warburg communities, the Breton Museum, and the The Keystone Legacy book. What a legacy they have left! My husband,Eric Josephson, was pastor of the Warburg and Breton Covenant churches !958-1962. On our way from Warburg we would stop at the Hooks farm to pick up Terry and Wayne for Sunday School in Breton.I may have a few pictures of them in Christmas programs. My daughter,Lois, has good memories of "Mrs. Hooks" as her 2nd grade teacher. We moved to the US and some 30 years later while traveling in Alberta we drove to Breton. Good memories of that trip included a visit with Gwen at the farm. She has blessed so many lives! God bless her memory.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to
Gwen's family. She was our neighbor in Ravine Villas for many years. I have the book "Keystone Legacy" and I had her autograph it for me, which she was very proud to do. Everyone here loved and respected her; she was a great neighbor.

I remember Gwen as part of the United Church congregation in Breton. A fine and faithful woman!

I too remember Mrs. Hooks as being one of the Warburg teachers I most looked up to. She was a true professional and we students were so fortunate to benefit from her guidance.
My condolences to her family. I remember her sons as children and know they will sincerely miss their wonderful mother.
