I miss him very much. He was a great man who takes care of many people. A real good man

When I joined the Railvets and met Jim Munsey I felt as if I had known him for a long time. I had worked with John Procyk and he was forever talking about this "Munsey" person. I even knew "Munsey's" wife's name. I looked forward to the mailings of our newsletter. Jim would recognize a name or place on an envelope and seemed to have a funny story about either the addressee or the location which was undoubtedly a railway town. We will really miss him but at least we will still have the memory of many chuckles.

Deepest sympathy to the Munsey family from Lavina Shaw, Past International President, Morse Telegraph Club. My late husband Earl worked with Jim as a train dispatcher.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Munsey. I have such great memories of him: Christmas dinners at your house or ours, family trips as close as Jasper and as far away as Tahiti, lots of stories to be told and he was always the entertainer/entertainment. Especially I will remember all the visits with my parents and the long conversations between Mr. Munsey and my dad, best friends for so many years. My condolences to Mrs. Munsey, Donna and Glen, Will and Mika, and the rest of the Munsey family.

Condolences to Jim's family and sorry to hear of Jim's demise. I had long association in numerous capacities with Jim and call attention to his considerable valuable contributions to the CN over
many years with thanks for his personal help to me. Jack McNeil.

I first met Jim (and Mary) as a 15 yr old in 1951 while hitchhiking my way back to Edson after fishing the Hornbeck for trout. A few cars passed me by, but along came Jim and Mary on their way home from an afternoon tour of the area which was a regular routine for many folks in 1951. I was most appreciative of the lift. Saw him quite often at the Old Capilano Mall where he met his Morse code buddies for coffee. He always had a smile and a story. My condolences to Mary and family.

It was with profound sadness that I learned of Jim's passing. He was great Railroader and good friend to all who worked with him throughout his career and retirement years. Jim will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

So sorry to hear this. Give my condolences to his family. Lou Hamel, Chilliwack

Jim and I volunteered together at the Telus World of Science for many years in the Ham Radio station there. Jim told me many stories of his time with the CN. He also wrote a book about this but never published it. Jim was an avid Morse coder with a straight key, with a distinctive first class morse code fist. VE6BKW DE VE6AFI SK
