Our Deepest Sympathies to your Family on the passing of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are hoping to ease the pain of your loss.

I would like to express to the Tilson family that even though I have not seen you for a number of years, I have so many memories of our early years together as neighbours and friends bringing up our families together in the Gold Bar community. John and Mary were always great neighbours and friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I grew up in the same neighbourhood as Marianne (Mary) and I would like to express to her how sorry I am to hear of John's passing--so many memories of years long gone.

I am sorry that I can't be there, but please accept my sincerest condolences,
Ross Hoyle

I met Mr. Tilson when we first moved to Mameo Beach. Yes, a gentle yet real man. RIP Mr. Tilson, I enjoyed our visits.

My deepest condolences to all of John's family. I have great memories of John, first when I was a crime reporter on one of the local newspapers and bugged him for news every morning for two years; and later when I was with the Edmonton Police Service and talked to him often, enjoying his droll humour. A lovely man indeed.
