Our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Archbishop's brother, nephew and friends.

My father, John MacNeil, always spoke very highly of his cousin who he grew up with in Sydney, NS. He was kind, humble, contributed greatly to his community & had a steadfast faith.
Years ago during the summer I had the pleasure of visiting the Archbishop in Cape Breton with my parents. He had a calming presence, a great sense of humour and was very giving of his time.

May you rest in God's peace.
