We are deeply saddened to read of the passing of Joyce. Although we had not seen her in years, she was often in our thoughts. Memories of the Annual Christmas gathering are foremost in our minds every year as the season approaches. She will be missed.

We are saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. It was through Bert and Joyce that we emigrated from UK over 50 years ago and for many years our families shared busy and happy times together in Edmonton. Our condolences to Julian, Jonathan and Jason and their families. From Keith and Elizabeth Smith.

Joyce was an amazing woman who loved life and touched a large number of people throughout her lifetime. She was always quick to give you a smile and tell you about her family, friends, travels, ballet, opera, tennis, jobs and hobbies. Joyce taught me to live life to the fullest and to always look for the good in every one and every situation. I will treasure her memory and I feel blessed to have been a part of her life. I send my deepest condolences to her family. Sue W.

One of the most beautiful people I've had the pleasure of knowing. Joyce (Mrs. B) always welcomed you with a genuine smile. Remembering all the meals we shared with her and her husband Mr.B. They were like Grandparents to our children, so loving and giving. Joyce always had something interesting to share while she knitted away during a visit. I will remember her zest for life and the beautiful Sagittarian colors she always wore. Thanks for all the wonderful stories and great visits we had. We will miss you.

With deepest sympathies in the loss of your mom. Joyce served as our Community School Coordinator while I was principal at M.E. LaZerte High School. It was a role that she devoted much energy too and which she enjoyed doing. Her winning smile brought sunshine to all she touched.

Remembering many good times, good friends for so many years. So sorry for your loss.

Joyce was one of the pioneers for Edmonton Lifelong Learners Association, and because of her work, our association is healthy and growing. Her dreams and actions help today's seniors keep learning! My sympathies for the loss of your mother and grandmother. Carol Vaage, former President of ELLA.
