February-20-13
When I was a boy, my Aunt Lynn was an absolute beacon of light for me. Always suntanned, smiling and ready with a laugh and a hug. My favorite memories are of going to big Ukrainian family weddings with over 500 people. When the dancing started Uncle Steve and Aunt Lynn danced every dance. Her smile lit up the whole room and everybody watched them. They were magic. She was so happy that it was contagious. She continued to be that beacon for me my whole life. And, though I am sad that I have lost her, she is dancing with Uncle Steve again. With that big smile on her face. That makes me happy. And so she is still a beacon to us all and an example of what energy, love and happiness can be forever. I loved her very much and will miss her more than that. My sympathies to Steven and David and family. I will always smile when I think of her. What better legacy to leave is that?
