Natalie was an independent thinker who nonetheless always had everyone's best interest at heart. I was reminded of this a few years ago when I found a book in our basement that she had inscribed to me many decades ago. We will miss her, and my thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.

Dear Peter, Tiina, and family,

Natalie was a trailblazer and a force of nature! I have so many wonderful memories of her. She had a way with words. I loved to read her beautifully written and informative letters which always painted a vivid picture. I especially loved her careful and thoughtful inscriptions in books and on the back of photos. Natalie was a great source of family information and I can remember many telephone calls and visits where she told me detailed stories and showed me amazing old, family photos. Natalie loved you all dearly and was so proud of her family. We are all very sad to hear of Natalie's passing. I am sorry we cannot be with you all today to celebrate Natalie's life.

Love and hugs to all of you, Irene, Simone and Gi

Dearest Peter, Tiina and Family,

We are thinking about you and feel the loss of Natalie - Mom, Wife, Grandma and Friend.

Thank you for sharing her with our family for 27 years, allowing her to become a part of our life and a grandma to our daughter.

Natalie was a smart woman, ahead of her time. She worked before so many other women starting working and at one of the most noble professions - teaching and expanding the minds of so many children.

She was a force to be reckoned with. She was feisty and smart as a whip, yet a true Grande Dame. A little spritz of perfume, a scarf and a splash of colour on her lips were her calling card.

I am sure there are many wonderful contributions she made to this world that I am not aware of but the most obvious and important success she had was in raising her son Peter. I am sure she has gone to her rest knowing she did a wonderful thing for the world.

And now as we send her into Our Father's care we can take comfort in that she is at rest and has left behind a legacy she can be very proud of.

With love and respect, the Rakovszky Family
