Heartfelt condolences are extended to your family at this difficult time. Seek the love and support God provides to help you cope during this time - Psalms 29:11

My grandmother Margaret will forever hold a special place in her heart for Phylis. When I was first introduced to Phylis, I was instantly drawn to her warmth and enthusiasm. She radiated positivity, and was so genuinely interested in me and my family. It became no surprise as to why my grandmother found such comfort and friendship with Phylis. They shared secrets, wishes and dining room complaints, and in the past few years I've been at ease knowing my grandmother had such comfortable companionship with her. Her family was also so welcoming to my grandmother, and she was so proud to tell us when she was able to spend time with such a loving, close knit group. Watching my grandmother and Phylis' bond first hand-the laughs, the inside jokes and the concern for each other's well being- has made me realize that friendships forged late in life can provide the most fruitful. I am grateful for the burst of youth and energy Phylis provided for my grandmother, and I can only imagine the loss her family must feel of such an incredibly spirited woman.

Phylis was special. I'm going to miss the long conversations we had when I used to drive her back and forth between her Shuswap home and her daughters home in Langley. Sleep Tight.

I cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I only got to know Phylis in the past few years however she made me feel that I've known her forever. The world would be a better place if there was more people like Phylis, a beautiful caring lady. She will be truly missed.

So sorry for your loss. I know Margaret will miss her chats. Phyllis was the most positive caring person we ever met.
