Thanks Ken Suelzle for keeping Rick's memories going
December-14-14
I remember Rick so well from high school at ME Lazerte. A special person, so unique. Happy and smiling, upbeat - always. I particularly remember him with his Dad's Chevy Impala (these secrets are safe now...) drag racing around the streets of Edmonton after long nights of fun and partying with good friends. Rick was always there with a smile and his personal, special kind of warmth. At high school his trade marks were his down filled jacket (yellow I think?) during winter and his brown leather Davy Crockett jacket during summer.

I haven't spoken to Rick since probably 1976 or so but miss him dearly.

All of the girls at the Walk-In Clinic at Southpointe loved Rick. He was always so merry when he would stop by daily on his 2pm pickup. He always had some smart comment to make us laugh. We were all saddened by the news and our thoughts and prayers are with you as you come upon the one year anniversary of Rick's passing.

I have just heard this sad news and it comes as a great shock... Rick, we worked together way back when at Stirrat Labs, and I always found you to be the sunshine of the day no matter how gloomy and dark it was outside. Funny, always laughing and always with a big smile. You will be greatly missed as many loved you. RIP my friend.

I'm sorry to your family.
You were a great friend, helped me through a divorce and took me into your old house.
