Though I have never met you personally, I feel that I know you through your wonderful family and the pictures that they shared. I will miss hearing about your new exploits and the fun you spread to others... You will be sorely missed...

Oh Nana.

What can I say that will do such a fiesty, loving, kind, and strong woman justice, in just a few words.

You are the reason your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter are as strong and resilient as we are. We all learned from our parents, who in turn had learned it from you.

Not an hour goes by that I don't regret not having been there more in your last years, and you will never know the depth of how truly sorry I am.

I know you will watch over us all, and I am so thankful you are at peace. It has been a long and hard road for you, but thank you for being such a force to reckon with. We all carry a piece of you with us.

I'm grateful for the time we had, the tears and the laughter we shared. The remember whens and the questions about how the grand babies were doing were the best times. I will remember how much you loved us all and our parting banter that I could hear all the way down the hall "Love you more". The staff would smile 'cause they knew we would never win that battle. You gave me life and I will continue to live it with the wisdom you gave me. I know you will be watching over us for many years to come. I hope we make you proud. I'll miss you Mom but knowing you're in a better place gives me peace. Love you whole bunches.
