Tresses was a saint in my books. Her and Roy were the nicest people I ever met when I worked at the Northgate Lions Senior Centre.

Aunties Tresses will always have a special place in my heart. She was warm, kind and made our family feel welcome. She was almost always in the kitchen visiting with mom and helping us kids She loved her husband and family and catered to all of us. I remember Roy watching hockey and Uncle Charlie would be routing for some team. She loved her nieces and nephews and I was in awe of how grown up my cousins were (except Judyshe played with my sister Susan cause they were so close in age).
She was especially kind to Patsy (Patricia) and helped her to get established in Edmonton. Patsy got her room, a job and I'm sure excellent counsel from auntie.

Auntie looked after twins and was just a natural mother. I remember her voice, her gentle ways and her take care attitude. Mom and her were close but moving to the farm and the stresses of life meant less visits to auntie.
Patsy and I had a wonderful visit a couple years ago with auntie. She was so with it, so wise, so helpful in her advice. As life gets busy , I do wish I have gone back for my own visit. Fondly remembering this wonderful lady.
