I, too, remember Yvonne as being a very friendly and kind person. She will be remembered in my prayers. Terry Meier (Klinger), St. B. Classmate.

Yvonne and the remnant of us on our last night in student residence in St Boniface Hospital had such a gloriously nutty, LOUD and happy few hours sharing a last time of being together for three years. Joyously turning on taps in the rooms of sleeping second year students and so on. There was some one who had a bit of wine in a bottle which just the thought of made us giggley. In time Sister Thille awoke from it all and made her way to our floor and basically just looked at us. I suppose she realized what caused the hilarity and the end of 'supervised girlhood'. One of us blurted out "We are up early for Mass, Sister". Prancing on the stairs in a cluster Yvonne slipped and sprained her ankle. In that pain she went to her new position in an out of town hospital not telling anyone there of her discomfort.
God bless you in eternal memory and peace, Yvonne.
Requiescat in pace. Patricia Craig Sawadsky
