Linda Faye Harvey Bowen, 67, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013 at her residence.
The South Carolina native was a member of Rincon Church of God and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Herman and Willie Ruth Henderson Harvey, and son, Kevin Bowen.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jimmy Randolph Bowen; children, Debra Lynn Bowen Lessard (John) of Nevils and Jimmy Randolph Bowen Jr. (Tori) of Shawnee; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Harvey of Jacksonville, Fla.; and sister, Terri Davis of Blackshear.
Visitation was Thursday, Sept. 12 at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Rincon Church of God.
Graveside services will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Blackshear Cemetery.

Linda and I were friends as children and grew up next door on E. 38th Street. She was always a wonderful and kind person, I know she is at home with the Father.
