My sympathies to the family and anecdotes for those who knew them: I grew up in the same apartment building as Harold & his family on Washtenaw Ave. (His mom called him 'Hershey', but pronounced it 'Hair-shey'). I still have a vivid memory of him from around 1969 when he started at 2nd City -- he was the long-haired Hippie guy in the ensemble -- and when his brother, Steven, would come home on military leave, the two would go walking on Devon Ave. -- 6'2" Harold with his knee-length coat & waist-length hair, Steven with his fatigues, shorter stature & much shorter crew cut.  This visual recollection still made me laugh when I heard of Harold's passing Monday. I followed his career (with awe & reverence) and was always proud to say I knew him. RIP, Hershey ... you were a mensch to everyone.
