I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to the family. Although we never met all of us have experienced the loss of a loved ne. I am sorry for your loss. Please know that you are never alone. Turn to Holy Scriptures for guidance and to soothe that aching heart. Psalm 34:18 assures us that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit he saves.

To the Alexander family:
May the consoling words from family and friends continue to strengthen you during this difficult time, and may you find comfort in the encouraging words found in the last book of the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

May the wonderful memories of your loved one continue to provide a measure of comfort to you--until God's promises are fulfilled. Matthew 5:5; Psalms 37:11, 29

I am shocked to read this news today regarding Elijah Alex ....I watched this man play the game at its highest level with the Oakland Raiders. He is one of the greatest to play the game he'll be missed. This is my first time reading obituary for nfl players. Sending my best regards to the family thanks for sharing a great man with the world on a special day {Sunday's)...I am sending this out of respect for the man he was, honestly I am a Cowboys fan but I had to stop and respond after reading this ....There are 4-Elijah's in our family and the youngest one carries the same name ....thanks for the great Sundays Mr Alexander

My condolences go out to the family and friends of Elijah.

The grief, the pain, the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable, but at times like this turn to God's Word and find the comfort only He can give.-2Corithians 1:3,4
