I don't know the family, but I am always touched when I see such a young person willing to dedicate their heart and soul to protecting our country!! After reading some of the entries it's clear what a special individual Elizabeth was. To her parents: I'm truly sorry for your loss and please know that you are being prayed for by many. God Bless!!

I was an SP at RAF Bentwaters from 89-91 during the first Gulf War. We had a lot of friends that were deployed to different areas around Iraq. A lot of the 97th SP Squadron still emails to each other and this is making all of us proud to have served.

Elizabeth was a great solider. While I was deployed with her I never saw without a smile on her face. One thing that always stood out in my mind was she would have the "word of the day" in guardmount. She and another Army SSG at the time would go back and forth with sharing new words they had found. I guess you would have to been here to understand. It was always something I looked forward to hearing daily. She was a happy, intelligent, and brave woman! Your 586 ESFS family will always miss you!!
