Our memory of John will be that he was such a kind and loving man. During the marriage to our grandmother Mildred, he brought such joy and happiness to her life. We will always be grateful to him for that. He will never be forgotten and we will miss him dearly.
Dear Marci, Mark and Family: Although it's been many years since I've been to El Paso and seen John Q, I have such fond memories of him and of my times there. Such a warm, giving and loving man, who took the time to make a very self-conscious and awkward young girl feel like a princess. He was truly one in a million, and to know him was to be blessed. My prayers are with you all. Much love, your California cousin
May the holy angels surround you with love and light, John Q. May your family remember your honored membership at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, your vestry service, the vestibule hat rack for your Stetson and the pew in the front that bears your name. You are so loved.
Fr. Philip and Ruth Parham,
Happy Trails, a Great American Hero, see you in greener pastures, and may God be with your familiy and loved ones. Gene May
Without a doubt one of the finest men I have ever met in my life. Going back home to visit my folks in N.M. will never be quite the same without John Q. either coming up to Las Cruces to visit or us going down to El Paso. Rest in Peace John Quincy Adams... you've lived a wonderful life and touched many a heart. You will never be forgotten.
I'm so proud to have known John Q. I feel that he was one of my "extended" family and he treated me the same way. You will be missed. Hugs and prayers to John's family.
John Q was the Texan cowboy to me. I remember going to visit as a child. He will be missed.
