Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and to also let the Groves Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one, James E. Groves III US Army Chief Warrant Officer 3. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

I truly am sorry for the family's loss of such a wonderful human being and a very honrable Soldier/Leader. I deployed with Mr Groves October 2009-Nov 2010 (JBAD). He always wore a smile on his face and was a positive and upbeat person, his energy was infectious and he will be missed by many. I feel bad for not being able to make his Memorial Service but I will remember the man who alwys had time for others. God Bless!

Leslie, Jim, Jeanette and Katie ... I am so sorry to hear the sad news about James. We just found out. I know it has been a long, long time and we lost touch, but TJ and I talked about James often. I remember him as the super neat kid who hung out at our house. I remember the high school years and when they both joined their respective services. My heart and my prayers are with you all. Nothing can ever heal the hurt, but from what I've read here he grew up a very special man and continued to be the remarkable person my heart remembers with love.
