We have lost a great MAN and friend. Our thought and prayers are with all his family.

I have so many fond memories of Mr. Cervantes, cheering at our games for so many sports teams, the road trip to Ruidoso for crazy sledding, parties at their house, eating at Leo's. He was always a joyful presence. I am so thankful to have had him as a part of my life growing up.

Mr. Cervantes,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USAF-especially during the Vietnam War. I remember all the times I would stop by the Legion post for lunch and talk with you and your brother Oscar and you would tell me stories about your time in the Service and even after you retired from the Post restaurant I would run into you occasionally at the airport and you would always take time to say hello and talk for a few minutes. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
