You are my uncle, my godfather, and the reason why I am a big payasa. I am impressed and thankful that you gave me the definition of a true family. Extremely thoughtful, generous, entertaining... some of the tremendous qualities of a Wong. I will keep all of the hilarious memories we have together, usually with a laugh-so-hard-my-eyes-start-tearing and my side begins to hurt.I know that you were always my angel and watching over me. You have an invaluable presence and meaning to my mother and all the extended family that assemble at your home for a party; an intangible, but strong and loving connection. The network of the people that love you will keep expanding.
I am honored to have a relationship with your sons and your loving wife. Thank you for taking me to Disneyland and thank you for making fun of the chola mermaid and thank you an inviting place to stay so that we actually had a reason to come to El Paso. Thank you for being in my life.
I have a lifetime's worth to say, but I will start with I miss you and I will always consider "What would Uncle Borley do?" so that I can always be thinking of you. This was difficult to write.
You keep me strong.
