Trinidad (Trina) R. Alvarez, 81, entered into eternal life on December 3, 2013 due to her illness with Alzheimer's. Trina was born in Hearne, Texas to parents Juanita and Gregorio Romo on May 22, 1932. She was married to Albert Aranda Alvarez for 41 glorious years. Trina resided in El Paso for 46 years. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother to her family. When not caring for her grandchildren she volunteered for the Child Crisis Centre Discovery Shop every Wednesday for 15 years. She is survived by her children Johnny Alvarez, Dorothy (Michael) Thering of Austin, Tx., Mary (Jesus) Salgado, Dolores Alvarez, and Ramona Alvarez. Trina was blessed with nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Officiant will be Deacon Roberto Mata. Pall bearers will be Daniel A. Thering, Garrett M.Thering, Jesse S.Salgado, Slayton Dean Salgado, Jarren Lee Salgado, and David Viera. A special thank you to The Avila Foster Care Home for their continuous support and care for our mother during her final stages of life. We have also been blessed with friends and family for all their love and support during these past few years. Visitation: 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Scripture Service will be at 9:15am on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
