I do not know your family or your fallen hero but I just wanted to let you know as a military brat - I felt the need to have a goal this year to honor one of our fallen every day. Today I have read about Spc. Alt and wanted you to know that she touched my heart. I will be remembering her today and sharing her story on my facebook page for others to remember her as well. I am truly sorry for the loss of such a wonderful young lady. Peace - Suzanne

I woke up this morning thinking of you...of your family...it's been almost a year. It doesn't seem like it. My heart still hurt just as bad as the day I found out. I love you, Ember.

I really miss you Chickadee. Wish you were here to see how Tylon is growing, and boy is he bad. Not a day goes by I don't think of you or stop to take a minute to say good morning, I love you, or good night. Just wish you didn't have to leave here so soon. I love you Ember, we love you! And I'll see you in heaven angel.

I constantly find myself thinking of you, Ember. I will never forget how you accepted me for who I was, and I will always remember the friendship we had. Words cannot express how painful your loss was and still is. Forever stealing your glasses, chica.
