Dear Dorothy & family. Hugh and I send our love and prayers to you and your entire family as you morn Bob's passing and rejoice in the knowledge that when he closed his eyes here on this earth he opened them again in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bob exemplified what faith and Christianity should look like as he journied through his 82 years. I'll never forget the generosity that he showed to Hugh and I early on in our marriage when during the hottest day in August 1980,it was 104 degrees and our air conditioner broke down. Bob came over and fixed it and all he asked for was a cold glass of water. Nothing more. What a blessing he was to this very young mother of a 10 month old baby. Bob was a prayer warrior for our family when we faced tragedy in our lives. He is laying down so many crowns at the feet of Jesus for his witness and faithfulness. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts as a friend, colleague at Six Flags and brother in Christ. The later being the most precious to us. I praise God that we were blessed to be a speck on the map in Bob's 82 year journey. God bless you and keep you. May He make his face to shine upon you and give you peace.
Love and prayers,
Hugh and Connie Evans
