Dear Mrs. Alexander, while driving from Kansas City to St. Louis last week, I was thinking about Ray, especially when I approached Wright City. I was contemplating stopping by, so I googled Rays name. I was quite sad when his obituary came up. I hadn't spoke to Ray since 2006. I worked with Ray at Porter Paints from 1989 till 1997 as a Dealer Rep. As you know, I just want to say that Ray was one of the most soft spoken, mild and decent man that I have ever met. May God bless him, you and your family.

Peg, I learned so much from Ray when I started with Porter back in the mid seventies. He taught me how to see color and actually transform it into a paint color match. He made me a better paint salesperson. And being around him made me a better person. I loved the Christmas Parties we had. His voice brought tears in a good way. Those days I felt we were a family. We would socialize off the clock and it just made it a better place to work. When I think of Porter Paints I long for the days that we were family. The Jacks' the Freds, the Rons, the Jeanies, the the Roses, was a special time. You guys are in my prayers and I hope to see you tomorrow. Dennis Noland
